Wasl is Dubai’s semi-government master developer, established in 2008 by the Dubai Real Estate Corporation to develop and manage the emirate’s real estate assets. Chaired by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the group oversees one of the largest portfolios in the city — more than 55,000 residential and commercial units, over 30 hotels, thousands of land plots, and several golf clubs — giving it a footprint few private developers can approach.
